There is always something going on in the Wildwoods. There are events for everyone in the family such as the Boardwalk Classic Show, Monster Trucks, Motor cross racing and the Powerboat racing. The International Kite festival, Fabulous 50's Weekend, the Craft Shows and who can forget the Irish Festival. During the vacation season there is a fireworks display on the beach every Friday night. Ceremony starts at 8 a.m. Flags of Liberty is a moving patriotic event honoring the memories of our deceased veterans. It is held annually and last year the memory of over 70 veterans were honored by unfurling their casket flags simultaneously on the seawall in North Wildwood. Spectators are welcome! Over 100 youth sailors ages 9 – 18 from numerous clubs will compete in the Mid-Atlantic Yacht Racing Association’s South Jersey Summer Series regatta hosted by the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club. Sailors will depart from The Greater Wildwood Yacht Club in Wildwood Crest, 6501 Park Blvd., with races being visible from a variety of locations along Sunset Lake.
