There is always something going on in the Wildwoods. There are events for everyone in the family such as the Boardwalk Classic Show, Monster Trucks, Motor cross racing and the Powerboat racing. The International Kite festival, Fabulous 50's Weekend, the Craft Shows and who can forget the Irish Festival. During the vacation season there is a fireworks display on the beach every Friday night.  12/7   12/7    Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade 
Parade registration/check-in begins at 5 p.m. at the North Wildwood Recreation Center, 10th and Central Avenues, North Wildwood. Parade lines up along Central Avenue and steps off 16th Ave at 6:30 p.m. Parade proceeds along Central Ave., then to Pacific Ave., to Spicer Ave., where it will turn and proceed to Byrne Plaza. Awards will be announced for floats and decorated business lighting contest at approximately 7:30 p.m. in Byrne Plaza. Enjoy a family-friendly event at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. featuring FRSunset Lake at Atlanta and New Jersey Avenues in Wildwood Crest at 6:00 pm. Tree lighting ceremony to kick off the Christmas season in the borough. Live music, light refreshments, visit from Santa Claus and more! Rain/inclement weather date 12/3.  12/7   12/7    Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 
Event is held at the St. Demetrios Church, 321 St. Demetrios Avenue at the Hereford Inlet Seawall in North Wildwood, featuring a commemorative ceremony by the North Wildwood VFW Memorial Post 5491 at 12 noon. The service has been a continued tradition at the post since 1991 to honor World War II military of all services. Free. 609.729.5832 or NorthWildwood.com

Enjoy a family-friendly event at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. featuring FREE admission to holiday-themed crafters and movies, photos with Santa, choir performances, children’s craft making table, a magician, face painting, dance performances, Story Time with Mrs. Claus and much more!  12/21   12/21    Wildwood Crest Holiday Lights Walk 
The Borough of Wildwood Crest Mayor’s Wellness Campaign and the Wildwood Crest Recreation Department are sponsoring a community Holiday Lights Walk on Monday, Dec. 18, at 5:30 p.m. Walkers will meet at the corner of Rambler Road and New Jersey Avenue and will take an approximately 30-minute walk along Sunset Lake and the surrounding neighborhood to view the various holiday and Christmas light displays. The walk will be led by Wildwood Crest Mayor’s Wellness Campaign coordinator Laura Farrall. The Holiday Lights Walk is free but registration is encouraged. Those interested are asked to send an email to lfarrall@wildwoodcrest.org. Walkers should wear warm clothes and bring a flashlight. All participants will receive a small holiday gift. The largest holiday co-ed basketball tournament in the country held December 26 – 31, 2023! Event is held in the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring an impressive lineup of high school boys and girls basketball teams from the South Jersey and Delaware Valley areas totaling approximately 1,000 competitors.
