There is always something going on in the Wildwoods. There are events for everyone in the family such as the Boardwalk Classic Show, Monster Trucks, Motor cross racing and the Powerboat racing. The International Kite festival, Fabulous 50's Weekend, the Craft Shows and who can forget the Irish Festival. During the vacation season there is a fireworks display on the beach every Friday night.  4/14   4/14    County Healthcare Resource Day 
The Cape May County Department of Health will be hosting County Healthcare Resource Day from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Wildwoods Convention Center. They will be holding FREE Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Fracture Risk Screenings. The ULTIMATE expo for fishing and boating enthusiasts! Up to 85 vendors will cover all of your fishing and boating needs at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. From the back bays to the canyons, we'll have you covered. There is a $4 admission charge; all Military, LOE's, Firefighters and children under 12 are free of charge. Door prizes will also be drawn. Come and chat with local experts who not only make but also fish the tackle that catches fish! Hundreds of products and services for Cape May County businesses will be held inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. The Expo is open to the business public - come shop for all your business needs and make important contacts. The largest business networking event in Cape May County allows you to meet with potential suppliers and network with potential customers. The Expo has received high praise for its relaxed atmosphere which is conducive to making that important business deal. Exhibitor opportunities available. Spirit Brands hosts an annual cheerleading competition in the Wildwoods Convention Center. All teams will compete on a 54' by 42' spring floor. 9 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Performances will be choreographed to music and sound effects, and winning teams will be awarded prizes. Two favorite pairings are celebrated at Byrne Plaza Pacific and Oak Avenues. The event will feature New Jersey’s wineries, decadent chocolates from the best chocolatiers in the region.  4/22   4/22    Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Earth Day Celebration 
Join the Native American Earth Day Celebration at the Historic Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, 111 N. Central Avenue in North Wildwood, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. {Rain date is April 23.} Learn how to be good stewards of the Earth.  4/19   3/20    'War at the Jersey Shore' National Youth Wrestling Championships 
Wildwoods Convention Center. The Atlantic Coast Wrestling Association will host this annual event featuring National Folkstyle Wrestling Championships with more than 2,000 wrestlers representing over 20 states. The 'War' features a youth tournament with over 50 weight classes spread across 5 age divisions, and a High School Division with 16 weight classes. A girls division, K-12, will also be featured. Weigh-ins take place Thursday night from 5-9 p.m. Competitions take place 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students 6 and older, and under 6 are free. 
 4/19   4/19    Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Family Fun Night & Bonfire 
The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will once again host a Family Fun Night & Bonfire fundraiser on the Wildwood Beach (at Rio Grande Avenue.) Rain/wind date is Saturday. Event will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. -be sure to bring a blanket or beach chair. Entrance will be at the south side of the Wildwoods Convention Center on Rio Grande Avenue. The event will feature music, a family game garden (including Cornhole, Ladder Ball, Checkers, Jenga & Connect Four) and a giant bonfire. S'mores pits and food & snack stations will be available for an additional fee. Admission to the event is $10 per person (13 years and older) and $5 for kids 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased in advance at 609.729.4000 or online, or at the entrance of event (cash only.) All proceeds benefit the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Mission Statement in support of the betterment of the Wildwoods.

On the beach at Lincoln Avenue, Wildwood. Noon. Children ages 1-12 are invited to dig for eggs buried in the sand. Each egg contains a toy and a golden egg is worth a bigger prize. Rain date 3/27/2016. 609.729.5501.

Wildwoods Convention Center. Cummins School of Irish Dance presents Feis at the Beach. Doors open at 9 a.m.; Irish dance competitions are 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The competitions will include over 1,000 dancers of all ages and expertise.
